Fun Few Days.

Ah. I love theme parks.
I've literally just arrived home from a stay at Alton Towers; well, we went yesterday to the Cariba Creek thing, and went in the theme park today.
I'd also gone to Alton Towers during the Easter break, both times with my grandparents - they like taking us away, and because they're going to New Zealand again in September, they feel really guilty. Hence they're taking us to London next week (or the week after).
I was dubious as to whether or not I'd be able to go on any big rides - my brother, who is 11, is a right wuss when it comes to rides; my sister is only 7; my grandparents.. well, they're old.
I could have gone on every single ride on my own, but I hate lining up on my larry. Surprisingly, though, my G'ma was game for just about anything!
The first ride we went on was Air. The wait was 'only' 25 minutes, but usually the queue reaches 50 and above minutes, so we saw sense and went on it when the times were relatively low.
I loved it.
It feels a lot faster than it looks, although I didn't find it that scary.
I can't remember the exact order we did things, but I also went on Ripsaw (and got drenched), Enterprise, Spinball Whizzer, a few random rides and Oblivion.
As my brother was wussing out of going on Enterprise, a tame ride which goes upside down, my G'ma said that if he went on it with me, she'd go on Oblivion with me. As my brother wanted to see that, he agreed; he didn't think she'd stick to her word, though.
Bearing in mind she's 68... she's got balls of steel :L
I didn't think it was that scary - they didn't really leave you hanging long enough - she was absolutely petrified, bless her.
It was a good ride, though.
Anyway, I'm now absolutely knackered and I plan to wake up at a reasonable time tomorrow - I've made plans to meet friends in Costa. It seems we always meet in Costa.
We don't.
