First Day of the Holidays!

Ah. The summer holidays. Ice-cream, sun, sea, sand... or should that be, umbrellas, hail, rain and thunderstorms?
My summer holiday took off in true British fashion yesterday, after the most spectactularly ill-timed thunderstorm I've ever had the displeasure in being caught in. Me and my friends had to sprint to my house through the rain and hail that was coming down so fast we couldn't see a few metres infront of us. In July!
Anyway, after drying ourselves off at my house, we left my hallway like a swimming pool and toddled off to town where we'd arranged to meet some friends in Costa; only to find, when we got there, that the road infront of Costa had flooded and we'd have to wade through knee-deep water.
Now, I like a good overpriced coffee, but there are some things I just wouldn't do.
So instead, we spent four hours in Subway. Ah, what larks.
Last night, I stayed up until about 2:30 am, and woke up about 10am. Surprisingly early.
It's now 12-ish, and I'm still in my PJs. I have a busy-ish week ahead, so may as well enjoy it. Tomorrow, I have to wake up at 5am so I can leave my house by 6:45, so my dad can pick two of my friends up and take us to Weston-super-Mare, to T4 on the Beach!
I am so excited! I'm not sure if I want it to rain, though.
We'll see.. laters.
