Mmm... money.

Tuesday 11th August. Great day.
My birthday is not until tomorrow, but I always have my parties on the 11th (so I can stay up all night and spend the 12th hibernating). This year, I also chose to open every single one of my presents on the 11th.
Overall, I got 3 t-shirts, about £320, some books, a coat, ray-ban sunglasses and concert tickets. Best haul ever xD
I'm going to spend the money when I go to London; except, by then, I'll have about £400. I'm probably going to put £50 or so in savings, and I also want to buy my granny a surprise bouquet of flowers (about £30). She lives in Gloucester, though, so I need to go to my local florist and see if they send flowers that far.
My friends came over at around 2.30. We were all starving like Marvin's mother, so I got the BBQ started. I managed to singe half the sausages, but at least noone will get food poisoning (;
My dad now trusts me with his camera, and I was snapping away all day.
We went to the park, as it was an extremely nice, sunny day, and loads of photos were taken.
Most of my friends have to go home when it gets dark, so although I could stay out until 11.30-ish if I so wished, everyone else had to go at about 9.
It was a perfect day, though. I uploaded all of the pictures onto my facebook, and am getting constant emails saying "so-and-so likes your picture".

I heart LDN... and my granny.

Not done a blog in a few days, so I'll keep it short.
Tuesday and Wednesday, I spend in London. I love that place.
We went to the dungeons, Covent Garden etc on the first day. The dungeons made me jump loads, and I loved browsing in Covent Garden; I eventually found Jack Wills, but couldn't afford anything.
The second day, we went to the science museum. My sister, being the self-righteous little thing she is, threw a paddy so huge that the security guards came over to make sure that everything was ok; and that we weren't abducting her (we were with my grandparents and she was shouting, "LET ME SEE MUMMY!!"
Once we got home, I told my mum about this. Consequently, my grandparents have fallen out with my parents; they think that their way of raising us is better and, quite rightly, my mum's had enough of my granma's insults. As a result, they've not spoken since, and I'm unsure as to whether or not they'll be coming to see me on my birthday....
On Wednesday night, despite being initially knackered, I couldn't get to sleep until 5am O_e
I, therefore, woke up at 4pm, and spent the whole of Thursday and Friday hibernating.
On Saturday, we packed and went to my granny's house. I was nicely refreshed from my two days of doing naff all, so hated having to sit in the car for the two hours it took us to travel to Gloucester.
I don't get to see my granny half as much as I'd like D:
They bought far too much food for the six of us (my granny plus me, mum, dad, sister and brother), so my uncle, aunt and cousin stopped by on the way back from the Liverpool match.
Which I hear they lost 2-1 D:
Today, we visited my mum's cousin and her family. I've not seen them in a good 6 or 7 years, so it was good to see them again. We only stayed for about an hour, though, as we had to go back to my granny's for lunch.
Once again, far too much food was prepared.
Soon after lunch, we set off for home. We got back at about 6:30. I had to take the dog out, but since then, I've been doing nothing.
I'm not sure what I'm doing tomorrow, but on Tuesday, I'm having my birthday party!
My birthday's on the 13th, but the 11th is my party with my friends. I can then stay up all night, spend the 12th hibernating, then spend my actual birthday with my family.
Right now, I'm going to watch Bring It On (a film).
Tooodles.

Come on, Diane...

Ah, I've not really got a lot to say today - been out again, same as yesterday and had a good day, but there are a lot of inside jokes involving what we did.
Although, we did tag along with the runners in the park. We were taking the mickey out of the fat runners that started first - staggered starts, y'know, the good people go last - and sprinted past them.
We eventually ran out of breath and hid behind a bush as they ran past, then started running back to the group of friends. The later groups had, by then, started running, and we were running towards them.
As we didn't exactly look like serious runners, one of the burly men shouted "Are you taking the pisss?!?!?" at us. ._.
Also, as we were crossing the bridge, we saw this unbelievably strange dog. It was a shih-tzu, but it had a wonky face and its tongue was lolling out of the side, all goofy-like.
We were laughing at the dog's appearance, but then the old woman who owned the dog growled at it, "Come on, Diane".
This dog was called Diane XD
For some reason, this set us off, and we walked off singing "Come on Diane" to the tune of "Come on Eileen".
Anyway, I'm going to London tomorrow.. this has been a pointless blog.. but I'm tired.

A Long Blog

I seem to have a knack for writing long blogs, and this will no doubt be one as I haven't posted for three days.
I'll start with Thursday.
I was planning to have a lazy day on Thursday, but my best friend texted me and asked me if I wanted to go to her house; of course, I did.
She lives on the opposite side of the park, which is about a 15 minute walk.
It had been raining sporadically all day, but just before I left, I could hear an ominous rumble of thunder and see lightning.
Of course, I left my house, regardless.
Boy, do I have timing.
I got to the end of the road running down beside my house and it started raining heavily. I didn't think too much of it, even when I saw families running away from the park. Carrying on walking, it started hailing.
I quite liked hail; until then.
It hailed so hard, I couldn't see more than a few feet in front of me. Yet still, I was determined to make it to the other side of the park; perhaps surprisingly, I didn't get too far.
I got to the small park near the bridge that leads into the bigger park and my umbrella turned inside out and the wind lashed the hail against my legs. It was at this point I decided to turn back.
So, I ran across the field to get back to the road I live on. This field is lined with houses, and I could feel every single pair of eyes on me at this point, no doubt laughing at me - I know that if I saw a soaking, wind-swept girl being attacked by hail running across a slippery field, I'd laugh like a look.
To make myself look less lonesome, I whipped out my mobile and pretended to talk to someone. Just because I'm that cool.
I eventually got back home after running through some knee-deep puddles that were hidden by floating pieces of hail.
D'you know what happened? Soon after I got inside, the sun started shining again and the rain/hail stopped ._.
Although, once I'd semi-dried out, I did have a good time at my friend's house.
On Friday, I went to town with two friends. One of my friends went there with a purpose of buying some birthday presents for his two sisters, armed with £20.
He ended up spending £9 on food, and didn't get any presents.
After town, I took my dog out and met my best friend. She asked me if I wanted a sleepover - which, of course, I did - so I scurried home and packed a bag.
We pigged out on pizza, chips and watched Mean Girls.
After the usual getting-no-sleep-at-a-'sleepover' thing, we woke this morning after I'd forgotten to turn my alarm off.
Soon after, her mum came in and randomly asked us if we wanted to go to Camden; which, of course, we did.
I scuttled back to my house, hastily got ready and piled into the car.
We wandered around Caaaaaahmed for about two hours, but I didn't buy anything; I'm going shopping on Oxford Street at the end of August, so needed to save my money.
After having a nice time in Camden, we drove to Brent Cross. I only came with £30, so I couldn't buy the polo shirt I wanted from Hollister (£25) after I'd bought my £15 red cardi from Zara, but I thought that the cardigan would go with more clothes I already have.
And, to top the day off, we actually ended up buying a Heat magazine.
"We're going to London, to buy a Heat magazine!" 'n' all.
